Access information: The exhibition will be held in the back garden. Entry is through a side gate into the back garden. There is one small step over a low wall..

Join local children's book illustrator Chris Walker, for a very special book launch. Come and discover the 'almost' true story written especially for the E17 Art Trail about a little boy's lost toy in Walthamstow.

It all started when writer Joe Vincent Pajarillaga posted an urgent plea on the Walthamstow Swap or Sell Facebook group. His son Raffi had lost his favourite toy - the Yellow Man, somewhere on his way home. Could anyone help find Yellow Man and reunite him with Raffi? Illustrator Chris Walker, with a keen eye and a bit of luck did just that, and a Walthamstory was born!

What happened to Yellow Man, lost and alone in Walthamstow? Come along and find out for yourself!

Pay a visit to the garden at 33 Harris Street (Just off Markhouse Road) where there will be books and prints for sale, plus readings and signings by Chris and Joe throughout the afternoon, with signing for the deaf.

Healthy drinks and snacks will be available. We have a gazebo in case of bad weather. Bring your favourite toy to the party, the Yellow Man himself may even be there to meet new friends!
