Exploring the history of Polish migration to Waltham Forest in an interactive exhibition, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Characters from over 150 years of migration come to life through film, photography, audio and archive materials. Come see and hear the stories of Polish soliders fleeing the Russian Tsarist regime, Poles who built planes for the RAF and stormed the beaches at Normandy, holocaust survivors, and ecomonic migrants who teach our children, fix our homes and love our football teams.

From Poland to Waltham Forest is a project from Share UK, a non profit group based in E17. It has been over two years in the making and features photography from Mark Burton and films from Kate Hampel (BBC's Tough Young Teachers, ITV's Home Is Where the Heart Is).
