Most of us see "home" as the place where we feel safest; where our belongings, our treasures are kept.  If we consider that "home" is simply where we lay our head at night or where we dream of being when we sleep, then we have to consider the many places where people do "lay their heads at night and what they dream of".  The artworks consider where we feel safest and considers where other people "live", where they would like to "live" & do more than just survive, it explores those many environments/situations and considers the occupants view in comparison to what the onlooker "sees".  This series of paintings makes us think a bit more about what "home" really can look like to others, makes us look at "the bigger picture" and also see "the detail".
