Where in Wally?
Various public places and spaces
|Open: Throughout the trail.
Treasure hunt on Sunday 14 June, ending at the Wildcard Brewery, Ravenswood Industrial Estate, E17 9HQ, 2-6pm
This venue has level access.
Where in Wally? is a Walthamstow-wide map made by you; a map of personally treasured spaces and places; big or small, well or little known. Suggest your special place and tell us what makes it important to you, and take part in the creation of an online map and treasure hunt. Your place will be marked during the art trail for others to discover, and the first 100 treasure hunters will lay claim to a limited edition (real paper) map as souvenir of the event.
Your place could be a public or privately owned building or open space, but it must be publicly accessible. It could be a pub, a community centre, a shop, a small open space, a bench, on a main road or off a quiet footpath. It could be a place you visit daily or one that you remember from years ago, a place where you meet with friends, or go to be alone.
Please see website for more information about how to take part in the creation of the map and join the treasure hunt. The Where in Wally Party (where maps will be distributed) will be held on Sunday 14 June at Wildcard Brewery - see seperate listing.
Kindly sponsored by the Royal Institute of British Architects.
Suitable for all.
