In this fun and interactive session, Laura Martinez will share her knowledge about the basic things you need to do to start using social media, how you can share your story creatively with examples, how to promote your work, how to get inspiration, and more.

Purpose of the workshop 

How to create content for social media simply and realistically by using storytelling.

Made for people who have basic knowledge of social media but still don’t know what to post.

This workshop aims to inspire people to promote their E17 Art Trail event.

Talk about general platforms with emphasis on Instagram.

By taking part in this workshop you will: 

  •  gain confidence and inspiration to promote your artwork on social media. 
  • have fun while creating content in a in a simple way. 
  • become familiar with 'the insides' of these platforms.

About Laura

Laura Martinez is a portrait photographer and creator based in Walthamstow who enjoys working with social media. In 2019, she and her friend Yanire made a documentary about the first E17 Art Trail called E17 Room: Artists Around the Corner. Since then, Laura has been participating in the E17 Art Trail, exhibiting or photographing the participants.
