Talks@Trades presents a talk by Michael Roberts. In the ’50s, there were twenty cinemas between Tottenham and Dalston. There is now one. Michael will be your guide and take you on a stroll past these magical cinemas, from first runs to fleapits!
Michael is an actor of stage and screen. His one-man show Hollywood Screams was performed at Walthamstow Trades Hall in 2023. Now he returns with a talk which displays his vast knowledge of cinema in a fascinating and, at times, hilarious way!
